ETNA Products has developed a new and improved defoamer to replace the Phoenix XFO 10S that has been used for the last several years. The new tank side add defoamer is called AD 261DF. This is a non-silicone formula with enhanced defoaming capabilities.
The AD 261DF will be available immediately and will be packaged in a case of 4 x 1 gallon jugs and 5 gallon pails. Pricing will remain the same as the XFO 10S.
MASTERDRAW® AD-261 DF
APPEARANCE AND DESCRIPTION
MASTERDRAW® AD-261 DF is a white, translucent water dispersible fluid. MASTERDRAW® AD-261 DF is a completely water dispersible and contains no silicone, it will not adhere to metal surfaces and, therefore, will not be detrimental to subsequent finishing operations such as plating or painting.
USE AND APPLICATION
MASTERDRAW® AD-261 DF is a tank side additive designed for use with soluble oils, semi-synthetic or micro-emulsions, synthetics, and water containing hydraulic fluids.
The recommended treatment level is an addition of 100 ppm to 1000 ppm of MASTERDRAW® AD-261 DF to most systems. 100 ppm equates to 12 ounces per 1000 gallons of solution. Additions should be made slowly to the inlet side of the recirculation pump in order to attain maximum dispersion of the material.
